Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Good for you for calling, aurelia. But ugh.

A different sort of ugh for msbelle.

Jesse, was there no breeze? THe breeze would drive me nuts.

No breeze. That might have been a clue before I actually got anywhere, but no.

Job interview today. I'm trying to figure out when and what to eat, since it's from 1-5, and it will take me an hour to get there. Do I eat lunch before I leave? Do I eat lunch close to the place and risk getting food on myself? Either way, I'm afraid I'm going to be dying of starvation by the end.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Can you take/buy food to eat on the way there?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Student suspended for singing 'threatening' song

That's weird. I was just teaching Emmett a similar such schoolyard song the other day and realized it could count as theatening in the post-Columbine environment and that he shouldn't sing it at school.

Yeah, I think that might be the best call. I wish I had a wetwipe. I'll just put a damn paper towel in a plastic bag and hope for the best.

Edit: HA! I meant to say a "damp" paper towel.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Good for you for calling, aurelia. But ugh.

What Jesse said, Aurelia. I'm glad the woman is okay, and that you were wearing your newest jammies.

Good luck on your interview, Jesse. I would eat something before you leave, and then have a protein bar (or a candy bar) with you that you can eat either right before you get there, or quickly during the afternoon.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I don't remember blood or weapons in it. I might have been doing my childhood wrong.

More threatening in the sense of likely to incite violence by the people who aren't singing "99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall."

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Why do I think that Worzel was a scarecrow?

Because your memory is all too correct. He was indeed a scarecrow.

ita, the other day I saw a preview for a movie I bet you'd like, but I'll be damned if I can remember the title. It was French, I think? And action-y. It was called something like District 13, but that's not right. Anyone?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Okay, that totally makes sense.

Ooh. My interest is peakedpiqued.
