You got all kinds of learnin' and you made me look the fool without tryin', and yet here I am with a gun to your head. That's 'cause I got people with me. People who trust each other, who do for each other, and ain't always lookin' for the advantage.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Clearly they should name her Buffy. Or Elizabeth and just call her Buffy.

Or Ann?

It's wonderful how doctors can be so validating. Mine looked at me, said, "That looks awful," and called around to several dermatologists to get me an appointment this afternoon. He says steroids are an option, they just have to be choosy about what 9and the derm will call him to consult), but since lots of women with asthma and autoimmune diseases have babies safely there are some good options (probably pills). Yay Doctor! The practice definitely just took a boost in my approval ratings.

Congratulations Jacqueline and David!

(And a sneaky hi-five to Topic!Cindy, who voiced my own suspicions a couple weeks back...)

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

My sister and I were talking on the phone yesterday, and she told me she had one of those "I know this guy on TV, but from where?" moments when she was watching a rerun of L&O:CI, the one with Malcolm McDowell from earlier this season. The cops were interrogating some guy in his 30s/40s, and it was driving her nuts trying to ID him. Finally, the cops said something about him graduating in Chicago back in 1992 and showed a picture from that time period, and Kris freaked out. It was Michael Berresse, who was in her class at our brother highschool and with whom we'd both acted with in h.s. plays!

According to his IBDB entry, he'll be starring as Zach (the director) in the fall revival of A Chorus Line. Nice to know he's making it on the Great White Way, as well as starting to branch out into TV!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I was 6 when my sister was born and 7 when we got my brother.

Loved my sister. Demanded my parents take my brother back and trade him in for another girl.

Aimee, this is exactly why Allie still calls David "Rachel", she still wants a sister and it's been 10 years!

Frail my heart apart and play me a little Shady Grove

Katefate, I think you should pitch that sitcom. America's almost ready, but the drag queens will have to be able to have relationships.

Well, relationships, quest of could be entire episodes. First one would have to be called "Hello, Daddy!" How many times did I hear that on shopping expeditions in search of size 13 pumps.

>Katefate, they should film that and show it every Christmas.

Lord, it was entertaining. I kind of wonder how it would translate to the general public. But, at the time, I was The Outsider learning about gay culture from them, so there's that.

flea, virtual calamine-ma to you until they find the optimum solution.

Aw, don't cry. It was such a sweet moment.

It was the sweetness that overwhelmed me. My reactions surprised me more than anything. Glad your car's in working order now, at least.

Kathy, cool HITG! moment! Eek about the car/apt accident, though. Do you know if it will have any lasting impact to the other tenants or the building?

Off to put out another user fire. I'm not getting anything written. Well, except the occasional b.org post, which is productive only in my book here at work.

Ha! Aimee, that reminds me of my brother. He's the eldest, and Cindy came two years later. When the folks were headed for the car for the arrival of #3, he ran out the house yelling, "Don't come back if it's another danged old girl!"

Guess who spoiled Marcia the worst?
