I'm supposed to deliver you to the Master now. There's this whole deal where I get to be immortal. Are you cool with that?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Is there a strong arc to Hustle, or can you jump in at a random point?

Not really. The second ep I caught went over everyone's backstories, but basically the things that develop so far have been the Cockney integrating with the team, and Mickey's love life (neither of which are tremendous spoilers).

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Cool. I will have to TIVO it, and then maybe ask lots of annoying questions.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

There's also a running gag in S2 involving the bartender, but it's cumulatively funnier no matter what order you watch it in.

Someone who's done a half-marathon, tell me -- will my legs feel less like lead that's been run over by a truck tomorrow? Lie if you have to...

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Oh, yeah. Perkins, there's not really an arc and there are few episodes-- I think fewer than twenty. But it's a show where you have to really suspend disbelief-- no one apparently has access to Google and every episode they manage to find a venal villian to con.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I can do that, I think.

Perkins watches t insert show to slam mostly affectionately here so she'll have no problem. But capery movies always have that feel, you know? The one where everything balances on a hair, and there are x number of close calls righted by luck or talent or charm...it's that sort of a thing, just every week.

I just figure we're skipping over the weeks and weeks of boring research they do before getting to the snappy slide show part.

Really, they're all 20 years older than in the series opener.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I love caper movies! Even not-very-good ones.

Man, this GA is great. Even though I don't love Meredith so much.
