I'm tempted to buy an old diesel Mercedes (something old enough to not have a computer). They'd be immune to EMPs, making me more safe from the aliens or evil AI hunter-killer machines....

That's good to know, Ginger. I'm concerned that the time it takes to charge the drained one will cause me a problem, but I guess I'll find out tomorrow. This was the first time since Tuesday that I've tried to start the car. This is the reward I get for walking to the grocery store.

Nah, just supposed to be goofy. Plus the extra goofieness of being from the Star Trek animated series (which most Trekkers consider to be lame).
