Huh -- I don't think I've ever eaten Singaporean before. Is it like Chinese crossed with Thai?

Here's what the restaurant has to say:
Singapore is a multi-ethnic society made up of Chinese, Malay, and Indian, whose immigrant forefathers brought with them rich food traditions from across Asia.
Typical Singapore food is thus an exciting blend of culinary heritage based on some of Asia's greatest cuisine. This combination creates a unique and dynamic flavor more lively and far richer than the traditions from which they stem.
Timelies all!
Singaporean food sounds tasty, but I tend to like the cuisines they say influence it.
It is very tasty. Having very good people there helped too.
The menu is making me hungry and I just ate breakfast! I didn't look to see where it actually was, though. Is it somewhere easy to get to from the hotel during the F2F? I think I might like to try it.
I stumbled onto the blog of the guy who played Shrimp Boy, and he called Thief cancelled. The reason I ask about S2 is that it does seem very neat and tidy where it left off, even more so than a Minear episode 13.
I'm kinda on the side of the buffet restaurant in that one, LeN.
ita, I am too actually.
I've been to rbuffets that did that. It makes you think a little more about what you put on your plate. I fetl uncomfortable , however, like someone was watching me. We never went back. I have to ay I don't tend to waste food anyway, but I think a litte more now.
I hate wasting food. This keeps me away from buffets with the kids. If they don't finish what they put on their plates they don't get to go back for anything else. I'm a real bitch about it. I try and teach them to just take a tiny bit if they haven't tasted it before. We don't go very often because I find it stressful. Also DH overeats!

Not so much, unfortunately; it's in Menlo Park, which is south of me. Definitely need a car for it.
