You like ships. You don't seem to be looking at the destinations. What you care about is the ships, and mine's the nicest.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Well, Boots weighs the same as she did a month ago, so everything's fine.(Had a little trouble wrangling her into the carrier, but that's not too odd)

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I thought I wanted to take a long walk in teh gorgeous weather. My body decided it wanted a 2 hour nap.

I feel better though.

Now I really need to do errands. So, a short walk, I guess.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Frank, no

Thanks! The one thing I've been pissed at Next...Star about is that they bumped the new Iron Chef season. Glad it's back.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

So - thanks for the thanks, Cass, but it was actually Brenda that helped you out in regards to freecycle. Still, very cool to be mistaken for Brenda!
t waves hands very quickly

Thanks, brenda!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Famke is a looker.

Came home from teaching and gymming and buying comics and workout clothes (running has informed me that at least one of my sports bras isn't doing its job any more--and I've pledged to replace each one with the DKNY sports bra, so I also need to do that soon) to pretty pictures in my inbox that I must sort and upload.

Having had a Lush bath with tea and chocolate cupcakes, I wonder if I'll make it to the post office before it closes. Don't want to move anymore.

Maybe I'll promise myself I'll wear something fetching. That might make me leave the house.

Maybe.

Art Crawl!!!

That was a beautiful race. I started tearing up when Barbaro made his move.

And why are none of my friends at home when I want to talk?

Sumi! Details!

I just got home, and BH doesn't have info up yet.

(Yeah, yeah, for someone who doesn't officially follow the races any more, I'm still pretty invested. I just don't *watch* them. On TV. MumblemumbleMSNBCOTOH...)

Art Crawl!!!

He ran a perfect race. Well, apparently he stumbled a bit at the start.

He was the favorite all day which made me worried and then just before they got into the gate Sweetnorthernsaint became the favorite.

Keyed Entry made the early speed. (They ran the half in 46, I think.)

He was just behind the frontrunners and was asked to run at the top of the stretch and just moved. He won by 6.

Bluegrass Cat was second and Steppenwolfer was 3rd. There was a deadheat for 4th between Brother Derek and I can't remember who.
