All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Congrats on the job, Spidra!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Kristen, That is AWESOME! It warms my heart that you think of me when you see it.

I totally do! I wanted to take a picture of it but, you know, driving.

Because books.

The mattress has gone well past old and tired into a state of active rage that we're still using it, and is now deliberately thwarting our every attempt at loss of consciousness. It's war.

Man, this is us, too. We just realized our current (ha! hahahaha!) mattress was given to us by my parents when I was pregnant with Jake. Given that he turned 14 last September, I'm thinking the weird sag in the middle of the bed, and the waking up with a stiff neck and back every morning, is probably no surprise.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Jess and JZ, insent.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

All this mattress talk is tempting me to look into getting a mattress in a couple months. My old one was pretty good for me. My mom offered me a newer one and I thought "what the heck?" and took it. Boy, was that a mistake. My back does *not* do well in this bed.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I have sent postings to list the desk, chair and glass shelving on freecycle.org (thanks, Nicole!) They aren't up yet, but I am hopeful.

Otherwise? I'll post them elsewhere.

::does dance of having put together or otherwise taken care of the last of busted up furniture::

I need a margarita.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Things that confuse me:

I can't even.

7-Eleven now has a line of sandwiches made between two slices of pizza. For those of you who really really hate your heart, arteries and digestive system.

If only they sold them in a tube, eh Sean?

amych attacking Alton in a porn kitchen made me laugh, in a good way. No unsuspecting sekrit celebrity boyfriend is safe around here.

The parental units are watching highlights from 70s hockey games in my living room. Perhaps I should put the kettle on again.
