"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

We are calling it "Piss Of Sunday".

That's rather how I think of Monday.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I just found this on somebody's blog:

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

random question, which just occured to me while watching old L&O: when they do police lineups, where it's just one guy there who's the suspect, where do they find the other guys from? What happens if the witness claims that one of these other guys was the criminal?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

What happens if the witness claims that one of these other guys was the criminal?

Every time a witness picks the wrong person, the police kill a puppy.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Given up on the gym for tonight. Have ordered pastrami instead.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Is Alton Brown a fan of The Tick?

In my private universe, yes.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Is Alton Brown a fan of The Tick?

I wouldn't be surprised. At the book signing that ChiKat and I (and a non-Buffista friend of mine) attended, he told me that he was a big BtVS fan and would love to work the show's title into one of his episode titles someday. Of course, he also said he was planning on doing an episode on how to cook in a small kitchen, and we haven't seen that one yet, either.

am home.

Neither Plei, nor Perkins are chopped liver. In fact, let us just go ahead and claim this weekend the "NO P NAME IS CHOPPED LIVER" weekend. I claim it to be so. Go forth and celebrate it as such.
