Regarding Alias, did anyone catch the latest Ford product placement moment last night? The whole hybrid thing? Or was I, in my state of severe sleep deprivation, hallucinating?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

No, Kristen, that actually happened.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Nope, it really happened. And in such a bad, bad way.

ION, Best Horoscope Evah!!

It seems everyone but you knows what a rock star you are! Today face the mirror, look at yourself in the eye and say 'I totally rock.' It's all about attitude right now -- combine bravado with your effervescent personality and you'll be able to get your foot in any door you knock on. Make things happen! Strike up a conversation with that person who sends your heart fluttering, refuse an unreasonable request, give that grouch a piece of your mind. You rule!

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Kristen- Nope, it was there. I missed part of it because my local ABC station was apparently having problems with the sound. Everytime Alias and Lost would come back from commericial, the sound was really faint for about 3 seconds.

hip deep in pie

Sue keeps insulting me (and my cat) in email!

Well he does look a little demented. But he is cute.

At least I didn't say he resembles his owners.

That's a great cat shot.

Nope, it really happened. And in such a bad, bad way.

Whooboy yeah. I think there was even a lingering close shot of the nametag thingerdealie (those product name thingies they slap on the back. What are those called, anywho?) I recall thinking, gee, this isn't a COMMERCIAL now is it?

There were at least 2 lingering shots of the nameplate.

Now, granted, this falls into my line of work, so I tend to notice/look for these types of things. But, this was SO heavyhanded it was horrible.

Okay, not a hallucination then. I'm conflicted over whether or not that's a good thing.

Also, something about the episode felt very BtVS-esque to me. But with wigs. I think it was a combination of voiceover and the way it was shot.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Did everyone else forgo last night's TAR? It was very exciting! What with the nastiness increasing and Yolanda cracking me up, and the hippies having the best luck EVAR. I can't believe they aren't out. Although it does make me somewhat suspicious of the "predetermined" nature of the non-elimination legs. Also, whoever suggested Phil and Jeff Probst as a team on that blog is genius.
