The status is NOT quo.

If you have to work on an Israeli schedule, does that mean you got to at least have some sort of Independence Day celebrations yesterday? Fireworks in the office? Lots of food? Some more food, because the former "lots" wasn't enough?

Nilly, my school had a heckuva celebration yesterday. Dance! Singing! Free fallafels!

What is even happening?

Plei, the people don't know what you mean by spoilers.

Lost

Michael killed Ana Lucia and Libby. Shot 'em in cold blood. Henry had tried to kill A.L. So A.L. tried to get a gun from Sawyer. When he wouldn't listen to reason, she rode him like an angry pony and absconded with the gun, after they were getting dressed. She went to kill Henry, but couldn't. Michael was in the hatch. He said he could do it because the others are animals, yada yada. Then instead of killing Henry, he shot A.L. Libby walked in. He shot her. I think he apologized to both of them before the shootings. He then went into Henry's cell. Henry rose and they exchanged a look. Michael then shot himself. From the angle of the blast, there's a possibility he just shot himself in the arm, or he could have shot himself in the heart.

Fade to black.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That's Donatella's daughter, Gianni's niece.

Whew.

''He's not that good with his Spanish.''

Anybody else seen A Tuna Christmas?

My brain just flashed on the line, "Donde esta el freezer bags?"

"The fact that we live at the bottom of a deep gravity well, on the surface of a gas covered planet going around a nuclear fireball 90 million miles away and think this to be normal is obviously some indication of how skewed our perspective tends to be."

McClellan's comment was noticeable because presidential press secretaries usually boast about a president's ability rather than talk about any shortcomings. McClellan is in the last days of his job, leaving the White House next week.

That's why it's noticeable? It's not noticeable because the press spent years pimping the idea that Bush was fluent in Spanish while he was going after the hispanic vote? Now of course, it's more important to fire up the anti-immigrant base. For crying out loud.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I cannot believe Cindy just used the phrase

"rode him like an angry pony."

It is an apt description, though.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm inclined to agree with you, but then I realized that you're a foreigner yourself, and now I'm afraid you can't be trusted.

Sue: SUIT UP!

So behind in TV! Krav is eating my life. And tonight I really need to hit the gym, so I'll keep being behind.

Just found out that my no-show project has been in progress for a couple months, and this morning was an explosion of "Why hasn't it been done yet????" I only got it a week or so ago. I have no idea, other than completely lacking people to do it, why it's not done yet.
