Mal: You tell me right now, little Kaylee, you really think you can do this? Kaylee: Sure. Yeah. I think so. 'Sides, if I mess up, not like you'll be able to yell at me.

Always Anti-fascist!

Allyson does have hair that Behaves when it is long, as I do not. The curl is nice for this. When I had a perm, my hair could be fairly long. Which was cool for variety's sake, at least

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Ahrg. I'm trying to submit my time and between the stupidass site design that takes forever to load and the stupidass ISP, it's taking for-fucking-ever.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I want Allyson to feel her prettiest. While I certainly think she could pull off shorter hair, I don't think she'd feel at her Most Pretty.

This is a tribute to Hec's selflessness in helping Buffistas everywhere feel good about themselves. (Note: this comment is done in all sincerity with nary a snark to be found.)

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Bleah. Still sick.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Actually, I think that cut is the perfect length for going shorter without going short. I mean, I'd consider it medium length, not short at all.

Sadly, these days I need a cut that can look good even when I don't have time to brush my hair. How lame is that? But I actually think that cut would look good with bedhead hair.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Having a stress-induced migraine right now.

Why can I sit in one meeting with management going "Now! Now!" and move to my meeting where I meet with the people who're going to do...except all but one (the one working on the least urgent part) can't make it. Because they are too busy.

Hey, I'm not upper management. These doers don't report to me--they report to the people who were pushing me an hour ago.

I'm just here to coordinate, and report roadblocks.

Still, head hurts.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Ooops. Wrong thread.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Awrgh, ita, that sounds unbelievably frustrating. Is there no way you can sic management directly on the flakes?

At this point (of the migraine) I don't care whether their excuses are good or not. I'm just going to report back up the chain and await further instructions. I will not be pulled in opposite directions. I missed my nap today, and I had no idea how dependent I was becoming.
