24 The taser was such a nice Chloe touch. I wonder if that was wrought by the Hand of Fury. I thought of Fred and Connor, even when she'd only done it the first time.

Newer digital cordless phones have better security, but cheaper or older phones have few if any security features. Anyone using a radio scanner can eavesdrop on older analog cordless phone calls, even if the phone has multiple channels.

In the days when it was in use, I picked up other people's heated arguments on my cheap, old baby monitor. They must have had one on the same frequency, or whatever. It was very disconcerting, the first time it happened. I was all, "Who is in the BABY'S ROOM?!?" I seem to recall it picking up phone calls too, but it's been so long, I'm not sure.
