I really hate writing research reports. First off, I try to begin almost every sentence with "In addition." Second, I find myself trying to say things like, "No conclusive.... conclusions can be drawn." Argh.

Art Crawl!!!

Prison Break: Pulling that shard of glass out of is side was exactly the wrong thing to do, wasn't it? I mean, wouldn't that just make the blood gush?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

There are still a couple of listing that run for a couple more days, but the majority of the auction items have sold. My mom's group should get almost $10,000.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Awesome, Dana! Go you with your bad charitable self.

Argh! I can't come up with a summary! I wrote three pages of "Analysis and Discussion," and now I have nothing left for "Summary and Conclusions"!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's awesome, Dana!

Oh, god, me too. Can you take some of your Discussion and make it Conclusions?

I almost swung by the protest in Union Square today, but decided it was weird to swing by a protest.

I kind of think I need all the discussion I've got. I think I'll babble about the importance of critical thinking for a paragraph or so.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

At the risk of seeming patronizing (I'm not...), ask yourself questions the way a friend would. "What is your paper about? Can you cut to the chase for dummies?" = Summary "Why did you write the paper? What are you trying to prove?" = Conclusion/s

I have my second job interview with UCB tomorrow. I just received an email at 4:40pm today that asked if I had any documentation I'd written at my old job. I didn't take much when I left and the documentation I wrote was in the form of emails to customers. I printed out a bunch of thank you notes from customers when I left but I'm not sure if they include any of the longer directions I wrote. My printout of thank you notes from customers is 4" thick.
