The translated version had to adapt some stuff for reasons of scanning etc -- so it's not a direct translation. And of course, unofficial.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I find this HI-larious. Especially because, Episcopalians???
St. Philip’s Episcopal Church in downtown Durham, NC, announces an outdoor Hip Hop Mass at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 6, on the grounds of the church. This is not a concert – it’s a real Episcopal Mass, complete with Communion, priests, deacons, acolytes, and altar guild. But the prayer book used for the service is the newly-released Hip Hop Prayer Book, and the service music will include a band, rappers, and local step and break dancers. 100 free copies of the Prayer Book will be given away by the publisher, Church Publishing Group.
The only problem is, once you've picked up the phone to say that, you have to say, "I'll be there in an hour" or whatever.
You could say, "I'm doing this new spa thing where my feet are set in concrete and I won't be freed until tonight...."
All these logistics make my head hurt. Maybe I should just go in.
This is a decent article on the Nuestro Himno (NYT, so requires login, but also links to mp3 so you can hear it!) [link]
I'll admit it. I can sing the most of O Canada in French, but there are parts where I am singing it phonetically, and I have no idea what I'm singing.

I know. Everyone knows it's the Lutherans that got it going on.
I just realised that I spaced on something I really really shouldn't have spaced on, and this puts me a month and a half off a schedule I already thought was too long.
Sometimes it's easy to believe you don't deserve stuff.
Grr.

Episcopalians really do pride themselves on their "big tent" approach to worship. And they're quick to point out that the majority of Anglicans in the world aren't white.
Grey's Anatomy blog entry for last night. The ep was written by a new writer, and she's very cute in the blog entry.
Oh, I know lots of Episcopalians are lefty liberals, but there's also the God's Frozen People stereotype. (I mean, I think 41 and Bar are Episcopalians. Not the hip-hop kind.)
