We have to see the chimp playing hockey! That's hilarious! The ice is so slippery, and, and monkeys are all irrational. We have to see this!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I love jeans 'cause they hold in the gut and show off the leg!

Yes! This is why I don't understand the stretch/waistband-at-the-crotch trend. Completely defeats the purpose.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Can you take a mental-health sick day? I know it's not much, but sometimes a random day off can really help.

I did yesterday, and it did help. I think I just need several days off in a row.

Also, do you take classes over the summer? Maybe just your job and not school on top will feel like a break...?

I do. I will only be taking classes for 1/2 the summer term this summer, so I'll have all of July and most of August school-free. And I cannot wait.

ChiKat, if you're still around, do you have the names of any larger-sized consignment shops in the Chicago area?

I don't. If you find one, let me know.

Jeans. I do like them when I can find them to fit, but that's really difficult. I'm high-waisted, short legged and big tummied.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

See, I've never worn a girdle or corset because they sound uncomfy and I'm all about comfy.

Sweetheart. You don't need either. Trust.

But Jilli is right about the corsets. Comfy as hell.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Sweetheart. You don't need either. Trust.

I love you...

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

That opening sequence on Gillmore Girls is among the cutest things I've ever seen.

I'm confused. Looking at the Lucky Brand Jeans website I ran across a style/wash that is on sale for $22. I tried to select an inseam and the only choice was 34 (long). Fine, I'm good with that and not surprised at a sale item being limited like that. I go to pick size and the only choice is 0/2S. Okay... again, not surprised by the lack of choices but doesn't S usually indicate "short"? How does that jive with the long inseam? Not that it matters. I don't think I've ever been a 0/2.

Art Crawl!!!

Trudy, wasn't it?

I was worried about the return of Jesse - - I didn't expect Rory to come to the realization that she loved Logan in spite of it all. And seriously -- Lorelai, Lane and that dress? Hilarious.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.
