What's in Afrin, Dana?
Um. It's a nasal spray. Um.
t googles
Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride. If that helps. It's a decongestant, and since I find that my sinus headaches are always caused by allergies, this really helps, even if I don't feel congested.
the hurtyness is likely from your sinuses being swollen, and pseudoephedrine will definitely help reduce the swelling
Can you go buy me some? I don't want to get dressed and leave the house.
Yeah, I do feel that whiny. But if anyone sends me brackets I will kick them in the groin.
In news not about my head, teaching was fun yesterday. I'm trying to remember to concentrate on keeping my energy up and transmitting it to the class. I can't remember for the whole class, but I think I started off well.
Haven't heard from the nose chick--I tried calling her, but I don't think it was the right number. I have left a note for her at the centre. Hope everything was way minor.
Triggers on the low end are vodka. On the high end would be red wine," says Buchholz.
Heh.
Almost all vodkas are a trigger for me.
Not really congested. It all just hurts. Like my sinuses are trying to escape. Shifting position helps. For the first few minutes of being on my back or side, the pain goes away. Then it comes back
that's congestion - and swellign - your sinus aren't draining , hence , face pain. showers, breathing in steaming liquids, drinking extra water, plus decongestions combinded with caffine and pain relievers - and if it lastfor a couple of days - you may have gone to sinus infection.
what surprised me most about the piece when I heard it, was the bit about some triggers not taking action until 3 days later.
DAMMIT!
I will have to mention all this sinus stuff to my acupuncturist on Saturday. He did ask about sinus problems in relation to my neck pain.
Okay, having breakfast. Will shower and go get Afrin and that other stuff.
I loved last night's Alias, but I'm disappointed with them
turning Ana into a Sydney double. She's much cooler as herself, and more work for Gina Torres is always good.
So much good stuff though.
Rachel thinking everyone is nuts with the Rimbaldi stuff, the super spy babysitters, Will and Anna in general. I didn't really buy Will being able to kick Ana's butt, krav lessons or no, though.
I've only watched the beginning of Alias so far, up to
the babysitters.
I had a strange geekgasm when
Gina Torres showed up at Bradley Cooper's door.
So much lovely. And somehow Sydney and
Isabelle made my ovaries
flutter.
My geek moment was the scene with
Amy Acker and Gina Torres in the cell because of the whole ME alum angle.
Of course, I'd forgotten until this morning that they'd already
worked together on Angel.
yeah. I'm a little disappointed with the Alias
Sydney clone
storyline. It's dumb, and more importantly, has been done before. Remember
the Francie clone? Or hell, remember Die Another Day. Wonder if Anidney will be able to sleep?
Loved, loved, loved
the spy babysitters.
I hope that we see more of them.
