Because books.

Top Chef: I agree about the cake. Tiffani going on and on about the cake falling ... my husband makes cakes from scratch all the time, and they've never fallen.

Hope the sinuses have improved. Mine have become a rather annoying barometer. Face hurting? Expect winds in five minutes.

A friend of mine gets migraines whenever there is a hurricane in the eastern portion of the country. Last year sucked for her.

Morning report: zen. And my eyes are protesting this whole thing. Must try cucumbers or teabags or something tonight. Verry odd putting eyeliner on when the surface is about three times its normal area.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Top Chef:

I was awfully concerned at the end that they were going to toss Harold, between the fish and his admitting that he suggested using cake mix. And I think I might have had an aneurysm if Stephen hadn't been the one to go.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I've been awake for about 20 minutes, and I've already had cat pee on my foot.

Does that seem right to you?

Hayfever season started for me about two days ago. I usually only get the symptoms in the mornings at the beginning of summer, but its still more than enough.

Art Crawl!!!

Jessica and Amyliz - I am totally with you on the cake thing. To me, the difficulty in making the wedding cake is the construction and decoration -- between the five of them, one of them surely can bake a simple cake.

It could be worse. It could be a cat who peed on your foot (which I originally read, and thought ok, what did she do to piss them off?)

This way, it isn't your fault!

Work. I need to do work.

This is a good point, sarameg. Any Mr. Kitty news this morning?

sarameg - Apr 27, 2006 5:09:53 am PDT #3957 of 10002

None yet. Unless one of the docs had a sudden opening last night, the u/s is today. Mister Kitty's main vet is out today, but the other doc knows what is going on, so I'll probably get a call later with a status report.

Jess, AmyLiz!

I sang Ding Dong over in Lost (about Top Chef), too. Poncy, arrogant bastard. I'm so glad he's gone. And I agree with Jessica that Harold should have used the frozen good salmon, rather than the fresh crap salmon. Actually, S thought so, and I'm just following her much more knowledgable opinion.

Who do peeps think are going to or should be the final three?
