Look, Angel, I know you've been out of the loop for a while, but I'm still evil. I don't do errands...unless they're evil errands.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

A friend mentioned that his brother broke his tooth in a dog-kissing incident.

"That's why I never kiss 'em on the mouth!"

Actually, I don't kiss dogs. I've been known to kiss cats, but only on the top of their heads. I don't care if it's scientifically proven that dogs have cleaner mouths than humans, dog slobber=yuck!

ION, best support call of the day:

User: I sent out a meeting request in Outlook for 11:30 and one of my recipients says it's trying schedule her for 9:30.

Me: t talks user through checking her clock and time zone settings. Okay, your settings are fine. I would call your recipient and ask them to do the same thing. Though remember if they're in Philly, they would be on Eastern Time.

User: Actually they're in Seattle.

Me: t suddenly remembering that yes, we do have a tiny clinic on in Seattle Then they'd be on Pacific time. Which is two hours behind us.

User: t long silence

Me: 11:30 here is 9:30 there.

User: t more silence

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

bon bon, Home Depot around here told me they won't have them in until May - don't know if it'll be the same in NY.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Congratulations, ChiKat!

I'm still a bit buzzy from the news that I've been called in for a second job interview at UC Berkeley.

Must figure out how to be productive today.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Ah, thanks for the tip! I'm trying to get it this week because Bob leaves for a month starting Sunday, but I think I'm kind of screwed. OTOH, May pretty much starts this weekend. So I may be not that far out of luck, I hope.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

that's $118 of serious fugly.

Isn't pregnancy a great time to provide more boobular support? What's with that hideousness? And not enough bling to justify the cost, as far as I can tell.

That's priceless, Kalshane.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yay Chikat!

Two good things from today:

1) This morning, I broke into the pirate bandages for the first time (sorry ita-- they match my outfit better than the bacon bandages would), and the free toy inside was the cutest wee little devil duckie, which is now on top of my work computer.

2) I just got a hand blender from flea. Both she and it ROCK. Those swimsuits, sadly, do not.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I love the "bling detail" here... [link]

Hello boobs! Is the idea to distract people from the belly?

Yay on the bonus, Chikat!

I picked my window AC unit up from Menards a few years back and it has served me well. Of course, my landlord just replaced the furnaces and installed central air while he was at it last fall, so I won't have to wrestle the thing in and out of the window this year, which is good.
