Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OK, done and done. Phew! New theory of applying for jobs: Just do it.

Always Anti-fascist!

Feeling Gus on his fiending for New Wire-ness."Baltimore's in trouble. It must be Sunday."(Four people in the world will understand that joke, but I believe I know them all, so that is kind of awesome.) That's about it...feeling the ending of a muscle spasm so not especially clever today.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Since the rain cut down tyo just a mist, I went out to buy groceries.

Now I have cooked up:

Mac & Cheese w/ turkey dogs, sauteed onions and peppers.

Onions, peppers, scallions, celery, cabbage and carrots sauteed up in a pint of hot and sour soup. To go over ginger brown rice.

That's good for 4 meals.

I also sliced up strawberries into some water in the fridge. And mixed up dill into cream cheese to go with 2 pumpernickle bagels I bought.

Me too, Emily! Yay!

I think I'm going to have to handwash the underwear I bought the other day, because I just can't bring myself to go to the laundromat, and all that's left in the drawer is the big granny panties.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

My family? In particular, my grandfather's side of the family? Full of JACKASSES.

My grandmother calls my uncle Bob to see how my Aunt Nelda (Gr-Grandma's sister) is doing. Uncle Bob tells about her going into the hospital and then makes the comment, "Yeah...she's the last one." My grandmother thought she misunderstood and says, "What about Elsie?"(the other remaining sister). Uncle Bob says, "She died. A month ago."

WTF?

Nobody called any of our family. None of em. Uncle Bob's kids all knew - one of em was a pallbearer. They just figured we couldn't be bothered to show up for the funeral.

Jack. Asses.

wow. and I am vaguely irritated that we get calls saying DH's parents are in the hospital, but once they improve, no one bothers to call. but your family wins.
