Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

In a minute.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Of the many things wrong with "Grapple", right at the top is the name. Pronounced "grape-l." Except that's totally not what it looks like, since "grapple" is actually a word.

Art Crawl!!!

Is that how it's pronounced?

I thought it was pronounced like apple with a gr in front of it (i.e., like the actual word) because it's a horrific apple-grape combination.

It's pronounced like grape with an apple on the end of it because it's a horrific apple-grape combination.

"The product is created by soaking a Fuji apple in artificial grape flavoring (according to the ingredients listed on the label)."

Ugh.

Our orb went away again.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

So it's like a grape from Krypton?

In pronunciation only.

Coding and Sleeping

Okay, so this isn't actually "news", but yet more evidence that the Administation misled the nation into war.

A CIA official who had a top role during the run-up to the Iraqi war charges the White House with ignoring intelligence that said there were no weapons of mass destruction or an active nuclear program in Iraq.

The former highest ranking CIA officer in Europe, Tyler Drumheller, also says that while the intelligence community did give the White House some bad intelligence, it also gave the White House good intelligence — which the administration chose to ignore.

I can't even.

In other animal stuff, kitten pile!!

I totally read this as kitten ::pie::. I blame you guys.

On the motivation front, somehow, in spite of my best efforts, I have become "personal problem-solving guy" in the office again, and most of my day has been occupied with chatty cow-orker types coming by for my sage sympathy or at least head-bobs. And I was doing so well with the irascible and unapproachable. I'm also having to be support-O-guy (but not in a bra way) over both email and IM. This is my mother's curse (life stories in airports). At least I'm not a tenth as approachable as she is.

Not a frigging lick of work getting done, I may add. Oh well, boss not back in until Wednesday.
