You're wrong about River. River's not on the ship. They didn't want her here, but she couldn't make herself leave. So she melted... Melted away. They didn't know she could do that, but she did.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Knit or weave?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh well. I think they went USPS priority.

God willing, I'll get them tomorrow. If they tried to deliver today, who knows. Sadly. Luckily, I often have time to go to the PO, and with good weather and lots of work to do, I won't even put it off.

Are they stretchy? I'm looking for not-knit (i.e. not stretchy). A beige for my brown suit, I guess, and red for the black jackets. Or, I guess, I could branch out a bit.

My iPod selection is making me sentimental. Yeah, it's the music. Totally the music.

AH! I do not know. But looking at the Target website, I see no beige or red. I see black, which I hear you wear very occasionally. [link]

Oh, fancy! Looks like it's not knit, which is good, but the problem with black (pretend I never really typed that phrase, if there's ever a tribunal) is that the jackets are black too, and I don't want warring blacks. But I could test it out...it might match one of them.

hip deep in pie

Cover letter writing advice:

I have to submit a cover letter and resume online. This means that they did not provide a nice business address to put in the header. So, what do I put there?

Something like this:

Human Resources Dept.
Parks Canada
Via The Interbunny

Calling and finding out the proper address is not an option because I am doing this last minute and it's due at midnight PDT tonight.

Did I mention that writing cover letters is the worst?

Do you ever feel like we're all supporting each other, sometimes dragging each other, through miserable work days? Like a white collar platoon?

Somedays, y'all are all that is standing between me and a self-defenestration!

ok, so the fall is only a few feet, but there's mud! And bugs! And muddy bugs! And used student trash IYKWIMAITYD.

Yeah, Sue, that looks fine. If you're putting it into a box of a form online or whatever, I would even just skip it and start with the salutation.

That was the funnest Survivor immunity challege -- way to ramp up the mindfucking, producers!
