Lucy generally goes for Jane Austen, Herodotus, or Wole Soyinka when she pulls books off the shelves. Clearly she's had a broad liberal arts education. (No wonder she doesn't have a job.)
Natter .44 Magnum: Do You Feel Chatty, Punk?
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
It depends on what they did with them once they pulled them out.
Anyway, yay for the new-apartment-having!
You know the thing that bothers me about the grocery? Is when I go super late at night and there's only one lane open and it's the 15-and-under lane and me with my full cart. I *know* I can go in that lane, and really, probably no one else will be in the store for the next three hours, but it still *feels* wrong.
SHOES COME FROM IT! Shoes = Good.
LIME!!!!!
I got something called the SmartPak Canine Catalog in the mail today. Apparently, people will pay extra money to have pet food sent to them in pre-portioned amounts. . . to help control their pets' weight. You know, rather than using a measuring cup and doing the portioning themselves.
CHEATER!!

I *know* I can go in that lane, and really, probably no one else will be in the store for the next three hours, but it still *feels* wrong.
Heh. I have been called over into the empty express lane and I'm always like, "Really? You see how much stuff I have?" They're like, "Do you see my total lack of customers???"
I cannot imagine what labor as a silent procedure could be.
Curiously, I can, but I wasn't very vocal at all during mine.
I kind of turned inward in the extreme. I do recall throwing a dirty look at Paul when he was trying to be helpful, but there was little noise through the worst of it.
A Scientologist on Celebrity Baby Blog explained the whole thing in a way that actually made sense, if you ignored the reasons behind it (which I still think are fairly kooky) and just focused on the process itself.
