Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

They were not in one bag. It was so annoying!

I don't do that. Each fall-on-floor-separate-thing counts. But, I'm all rule follower and that.

I'm regularly late with presents. It's a bad habit of mine. But I do tend to do the terribly intimate confessions , not out of guilt over the lateness, but out of "oh mom/dad, I love you and you never know how much you've done." I get terribly sentimental.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I regularly make my parents cry with cards.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Actually, much of the time, it's easier to scan in each item separately if there are just a couple than to hit the quantity key

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, with just two of the same thing, it seems way faster to just scan them both.

ION, I just got an invitation to breakfast with the former head of "the Nation’s leading producer of disposable table top products for the away-from-home dining market." This makes me laugh so hard -- I love other people's industry talk.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

That means paper plates, right?

Art Crawl!!!

Woohoo Kathy with the new apartment having.

Meanwhile, work is driving me mad and I am so tired. . . for no reason I can think of. Seriously, I have Thief on my tv but I fell asleep in the middle of it and I feel all wonky.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Makes me sad ... that Hispanic residents would cause concern.

I think my mom's problem is that the complex I lived in back in 1993 had 90% Hispanic (mostly straight from south of the border) residents that were mostly young men sharing apartments and having gang wars in the outer buildings. There was even a satellite office of the police department in the complex, since a good majority of the crime in town was located there. But, I was only making $18K/year, and the studio was only $410/mo, so it was the only place I could afford at that time.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

My cats pulled The Fountainhead and Anthem out of the bookshelf. Do I have Objectivist cats?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

The woman in front of me in the 10-items-or-less line at the grocery store had 13 items. A bunch of them were duplicates (she had 2 of several things), so I'm sure that's why she thinks she was fine being in the express lane. But she's wrong, right???

She was perfectly within her rights to do it.
