I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That's great, Kathy! Congrats.

I cannot imagine what labor as a silent procedure could be.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Sounds great, Kathy!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

interesting gift ideas:

Ooooh, stunt school!

I cannot imagine what labor as a silent procedure could be.

In the interview that aired Friday, Tom said the mother could do whatever she needs to do, it's the others in the room who are supposed to be quiet. FWIW. What? My VCR thought it was recording Injustice.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Yay, Kathy!!!!

Your VCR knew I'd need to know, aurelia.

Glad my VCR could help, -t.

Are you moving to Evanston, Kathy?

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

No, to Wheeling (my company's in Riverwoods, between Wheeling and Northbrook). Last time I lived up here was in 1994-5, at a complex right across from Palwaukee Airport. I don't recommend living on the approach path to an airport's runways, even ones that only take small jets and prop planes, because it still gets damn loud. This place is two miles away from the airport, and nowhere near the approach to the runway.

I just got off the phone with Mom, and her relief over my having a/c and being so close to work vastly offset any concerns she had about security there, especially when I told her about all the people walking babies on the complex's sidewalks.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yay Kathy! That sounds fab.

Fuck, I never decided what to get my mother. And the stuff on msbelle's link is too expensive.

I realized when I was on the phone with Mom that instead of taking advantage of the complex's offered discount to a local fitness center, I'll be close enough that I can pop in and use the office workout room on the weekends, and after I lose enough weight that I feel okay about appearing in public in a swimsuit (next summer, I hope), I'll be using the complex's pool to get some laps in (there's also a sauna in the clubhouse, which is nice!).
