Wash: Little River just gets more colorful by the moment. What'll she do next? Zoe: Either blow us all up or rub soup in our hair. It's a toss-up. Wash: I hope she does the soup thing. It's always a hoot, and we don't all die from it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

One of the (several) times my sister saw Brokeback Mountain the sound cut out around one of the pivotal scenes at the end (where Ennis is talking to Jack's widow on the phone) and was replaced by Cher singing The Shoop Shoop Song, all the way through until he leaves Jack's parents' house. There were some pissed homosexuals (and my sister) demanding refunds, let me tell you.

I ate crickets tonight! They were very crunchy, like you'd expect a fried cricket to feel.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Now see, if it had been "Believe" they would have walked away with much the same emotional experience as from the correct soundtrack.

I think someone needs to make a BBM fanvid to The Shoop Shoop Song--c'mon--"It's in his kiss" is just begging for some hot cowboy loving.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Did it, however, have a corrugated tin roof, Fay? You haven't experienced life until you see a movie under a tin roof with no walls during a rain storm.

Yes. Yes, it did.

Also, the pool tables, by the end of the movie, had brought an entirely new meaning to the term 'pool table'.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm visiting at my Mom's new place in PA this weekend. Yesterday I helped her shop for a couch, today is Easter brunch and then it turns out that the IKEA 14 miles away is open on Easter afternoon, so we have a fun goal to go enjoy ourselves!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Swedish meatballs for Easter! It's a new tradition!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Happy Easter, to those who celebrate, and to those who like Peeps and biting the heads off of chocolate bunnies!

I ate crickets tonight! They were very crunchy, like you'd expect a fried cricket to feel.

Where you at Typhoon?

I'm getting the pig!

That's one messed up Easter basket.

and to those who like Peeps and biting the heads off of chocolate bunnies

Dear chocolate bunny sitting on my coffee table,

I know you don't have ears anymore, but I need to tell you something anyway. Your days, no... your hours, are numbered.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Yes. Yes, it did

Hee, awesome! I don't know what compels folks to build theater enclosures with tin roofs. Yes, they are (presumably) impenetrable to rain, but the extra soundtrack during a storm? I can do without.

I have no chocolate. Mainly because I ate it all last night. Did you know Godiva makes dark chocolate covered marshmallows on a stick? Yum. My daughter still has chocolate, the hoarding freak.

Instead of an Easter egg hunt, we're going to have a Swedish meatball hunt! I'm so excited, I almost fell asleep....
