You know, with the exception of one deadly and unpredictable midget, this girl is the smallest cargo I've ever had to transport. Yet by far the most troublesome. Does that seem right to you?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am no longer enjoying the day, because I am hard at work on school work. No, really.

OK, I will be as soon as I open the document. Which will be any minute now. Unless I decide to take a nap.

I'm here but I'm going to the gym shortly.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I got back from my business trip last night and went in to work this morning and worked with our handyman and moved my whole office to a new room--I will now be in the conference room. Lots of files to moved and pictures hung, but my new office/conference room has a big window, so that's cool. Tired now, but have to get dressed to have after-Passover seder with the in-laws, an hour away. I am very happy to be home, though, so that's helping me not be cranky.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

I am hard at work on school work.

Ooh, me too! As you can tell.

Mmm, seven. That's the time when I'm a Vi-- I mean, the age at which we know EVERYTHING. Even more than when we hit high school.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I was doing laundry, and now I am printing fic. I should be going to the vet's to buy cat food, but somehow that doesn't seem to be happening.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

You'd better go get those cats some food! Why do you starve them so?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

But getting them food involves putting on outside pants.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

You haven't found a place that delivers cat food? SO disappointed in you.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Outside pants are bad. Jammies are good. I'm trying to convince myself to sort through all my files for the copy of my last years property taxes. I might get my taxes done by Monday, if I do that.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I decided that looking for a birthday present for my mother online was at least as important as schoolwork, for the moment.
