You like ships. You don't seem to be looking at the destinations. What you care about is the ships, and mine's the nicest.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

omg I so overslept. I blame taking a nap yesterday afternoon, so I was able to stay up until 4 am reading a novel. My schedule is completely screwed.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I wish I were one of us.

I was up at 7:00. After staying out til 2 and not going to sleep until closer to 3. And now, I'm at work.

AND - I broke my all-time favorite coffee mug. Must to search eBay for a new one.

I put three loads of laundry in the washer, taking up all of the machines, but now I have no desire to go change them into the dryer.

I'm glad I'm not my neighbors.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

The funniest thing about cooking shows - they open the fridge to put something in - and there are empty sheves in the fridge. too funny. They miss the whole balaceing act and shoving things around that is a part of cooking.

You're not watching "Good Eats"! The last ep I caught had him trying to put a pan of truffle filling into the fridge to cool, and he ended up setting it on top of some other things and muttered, "I'll get around to clearing this out...someday."

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I slept in because I found a position in which my shoulder didn't hurt. I stayed there until my back started to ache. As soon as I got up the shoulder hurt again. hrmph.

I think BONES has improved a lot, but mainly due to the core cast and not necessarily the A-stories.

I'm enjoying Bones quite a bit. The supporting characters are great fun and there is always some bit of dialogue that surprises and amuses me. But I started watching that show for Hart Hanson, not DB.

HIMYM is cute, but I'm not a big sitcom fan and the 1/2 hour format complicates my taping schedule too much, so I dropped it a while ago.

Oy. I really should've done my taxes before now.

I just tried really hard not to laugh at a neighbor. It mostly worked.

The weather here is gorgeous, and we've been getting random sprinkles as small stormclouds blow over. So of course, everyone is doing the reasonable thing and washing their cars. Er, anyway, so this one neighbor is a lanky middle aged black guy. He's dressed in some sort of skintight lycra longsleeved, capri-length athletic getup in black. With those awful baggy basketball shorts, in shiny black. Also sporting a black sweatband. He looks kinda funny dressed that way. And he's just bopping away dorkily to the music pouring not-too-loudly from his truck as he cleans. He just looks so cheerful and bouncy and really silly. I keep taking peeks because he makes me laugh, not so much with mocking as the apparent joy he's goofily displaying.

So, Paris in June is officially off the table. I'll be paying rent instead. Which means not getting evicted, so yay, but... Europe is going to have to wait for another year.
