Sweet lumpy minion, you're the only one that understands. Probably 'cause I haven't sucked the brain out of you yet.

It was fridged right after cooking. I'm an extremely put-away-and-clean cook. So I think I'll reuse it. I might add some more maple, though. The apple is strong in the chicken and I think the maple would better dominate the pork.

Today, I joined an awesome new gym! (Well, new to me. It's been there for a year or two now.) I'm very excited.

In Natter news, during my class last night, one of the film clips we watched was from Dirty Harry. It was the "Do you feel lucky, punk?" scene. It made me laugh.

What is even happening?

sarameg, this was the marinade that went into the oven (not just what raw stuff sat in), right?

I think it would be okay to use, since you refrigerated it right after using. Let the record show, I'm usually the biggest chicken in this thread about food stuff. When in doubt, throw it out isn't just a motto for me, it's my calling. I even told tommyrot to throw out cheesecake once. But if the marinade cooked in the oven at 400, no bad stuff, and was then promptly refrigerated, I can't see how bad stuff would have survived. If it did, you'll get sick from the chicken before you even make the pork.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Supernatural is such a cute show. Jensen Ackles rocks.

Watching Thief, I feel I'm being conditioned to react to Andre Braugher's laugh with fear. He plays it kinda flat, but just kinda, so you're not sure he's laughing at you, that there are sinister overtones until he's done.

There was something crystalline in my dinner. I haven't poked through to see precisely what, but it might have been glass. No idea how it'd have gotten in there. I just made it.

I'm still not sure about Thief. I keep watching but, I dunno, it's not grabbing me yet. I've completely given up on Conviction. Supernatural continues to make me happy though.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Oh dear. I went out to dinner with some people from work today, and found a new sushi restaurant that's directlu on my way home, serves pretty good sushi, and has a very nice crispy tofu appetizer.

This could be dangerous.

Thief has me interested but not hooked. Even more interested since TiVo cut off the end of this last ep. Recording it again tonight in case.

I only watched the one ep of Conviction. Love the JAR, but there wasn't anything that convinced me I wanted to work around the scheduling issue. I liked Heist, and am sad TiVo says there's only the one upcoming episode. Which is Wednesday at 9, when I'm sure I have...right, Alias. Gotta let Alias bow out in style. Halfway through an episode of Hustle. We shall see. Not sure where in the story I am.

Thrive to spite them

If I take a whole Ambien, I get fun hallucinations. I cheerfully burble at Pete about the curtains breathing, or that the light fixture above the bed has grown arms and is being all wiggly at me.

I get those too. When I'd take Ambien but stay up on the computer I'd hallucinate -- not people -- but presences behind/beside me -- wavering, nodding sort of things. It was creepy at first but then it got to be normal, also sometimes I'd stay up and try to chat...that was always weird. No where near as weird as the hallucination I had from sleep deprivation. That was creepy and scary.

Okay, Hustle rocks. That was very charming.

I just watched So NoTORIous, just because my tivo recorded it for me.

It was...not so charming.
