Just talked to my dad. He sounds very normal. I think he will actually push the envelope again. He let me know he's planning on going to work tomorrow. I asked him if the doctor said it was okay and he said the doctor just told him to keep the leg elevated. Dad doesn't know how many pins he's got in his leg, but Mom saw the x-rays so I'll have to ask her. Dad already had a pin in that leg (the thigh, specifically) because he had an operation in high school to correct a disparity in leg length.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
so the plan for my evening, I'm gonna tell y'all anyways..
8-8:30 - chill from work, have tea, go through mail, do teeny bits of house straightening.
8:30-9:30 - have dinner, select clothes for tomorrow, get ready for bed.
Exciting, no?
This is why getting home at 8pm is NOT gonna cut it.
Ooh #13! Rockin!
eta: Bugger. I knew my luck wouldn't hold on that one. Still, it's been a long time since I was in the first 20 posts of any thread.
extra edit: Oh good grief! I missed # 13 by two seconds!?!!!?!?!?!? Again. Bugger.
Whee! I must have just missed the changeover! And still time for 24, too!
Good to hear your dad is feeling positive Spidra, but he still needs a good smack for this work talk. (Unless he want to do my work, then yay!)
eta: How sweet is that? I got my user number.
Huh. George Carlin, circa 1977, looked a lot like Russell Crowe circa, er, 2000. Let's say.
Shiny new thread!
Woo hoo new thread!
HIMYM: Alexis Denisof as the cocky, overtanned co-anchor on Robin's news!
Oooh, I was wondering when we'd see that casting.
Hey, I just had my contender for Most First World Problem Of The Week. I couldn't reach my martini glasses because they were in the cabinet hidden behind boxes.
