It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I'm going on vacation next week! But have a brief due tonight. Some judges don't celebrate. Ever.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

So who (besides brenda) gets half or all the day off today as a holiday?

Day off!!!!

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Everybody agreed that Treen was honest, and that Edwards was not.

And Edwards won the election with over 60% of the vote.

Hmmmmm. I hope this sort of thing doesn't happen nationally this fall.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

In honour of Good For Shrift Friday, I'm wearing the plaid/polka dot top.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I hope this sort of thing doesn't happen nationally this fall.

First, you'd need one or more Republicans with the sort of charisma to make Bill Clinton look like a stick-in-the-mud....

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yay for Shrift's EAT IT Day!

Perkins, my adventure in the suburbs was pleasantly un-adventuresome. Adventureful? Whatever. Took the commuter train, got picked up at the station (in an SUV!), and got a ride all the way home. Awesome. I have to say, I was shocked at how expensive the train was -- $14 one way. I guess that's cheaper than parking in the city, but still! Yet another reason not to live in the burbs.

Ellen Degeneres is talking about that crazy expensive sandwich and mint julep. Maybe she's a lurker!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Ooh, client is in today. So there is much work to do. Occasionally my boss lets me leave early on Friday - I'm hoping that'll happen today.

One of my bosses is off today. The other (Jewish) boss is here. They know I'm not Christian, so I can't say I wanna leave to do the Jesus thing....

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Last night we were having a conversation about things being open today or not, and all the Jews (ie, everyone in the room but me) were surprised that everything's not closed for Good Friday.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I am pretty sure I said this last year, but at my high school job at a small grocery store, we closed from 12 -3 on Good Friday so everyone could go to mass.
