And my really good news is that I am getting Associate Design credit for this show, as my designer insisted on it. I am not doing really much more than I have for other shows, but she is quite an experienced designer, so she sort of realizes that when she tells me to go pick out things for her approval based on sparse verbal directions, that is worth an associate design rather than "wardrobe coordinator" credit.
My designer does designs for Mikail Baryshnikov, so I guess I am moving up in the world without leaving Rochester!
Well, he does
look kind of like Michael Rosenbaum. And for some reason E's old boss liked his pitch.
I'll be expecting Homer in just a few days.... ;)
Actually, tring to imagine my Sunshine in a flat rate box is almost as funny as imagining him in a boot, onstage.
Sophia, are you sure you don't want a large gray cat?
I know, Jess. They all love that guy! Bah, I say, BAH.
Good news on the credit, Sophia! I'll send you the tracking number for the cat.
Dougray Scott's accent in Heist is really cool. Surely wouldn't peg him as a foreigner.

Actually, the whole discussion started when I showed the director a grey puss-n-boots plush outfit. He was very insisitant the puus-in-boots is ALWAYS orange !?!
Sophia, that credit ROCKS
Crossing Jordan:

But maybe you want one just for you?
Sophia, that credit ROCKS
Thanks! It's nice to hear coming from a fellow theatre professional. The praise I get from my designers, who are all working designers in NY, chicago or CA is one of the things that makes me think I should have just picked up and tried to make my way in NY. I mean, I really can't sew half as well as many many people (even many on this board), so it must be an understanding of design that makes them like to work with me.
