While I'm linking to the BBC, UK's first case of bird flu, [link] about ten miles from where my mum lives.
I would also like to stress that although we drove through Cellardyke about a week before the bird was found, we did not stop at the harbour and we did not have *any* suspicious test-tubes with us. Not at all.
yikes, Tom.
Why is half of the internet broken today? Even Yahoo Mail is giving me attitude.
I'm disturbed that cats can get bird flu. They can also apparantly transmit it ot other cats.
You know, all it'd take would be for an epidemic to kill all the cats and dogs, and then people would have monkeys for pets, and then in a few years we'd be all, "Get your filthy paws off me, you damn dirty ape!"
The head of the krav instructors is trying to organise an instructor paintball outing.
I can't begin to enumerate the ways in which that's not a healthy idea. But I do know exactly who I'd want on my team.
Thief: It does kind of bother me, because I got quite excited to see Linda Hamilton onscreen, and I liked her role. Dina Meyer--who the hell cares? It also puts me in mind of The Unit, where none of the women get to do anything physically interesting--they're just all uberwives. Those are two of the shows (perhaps the only two) that have recently started that caught my eye, and I'm not getting my too cool chick fix from either.

Who forgot to pay the internet bill?
We used to play laser tag a lot at my first job. My team used to annoy a lot of the other teams. They would play every week, practice all the time and take it very seriously. We would turn up once a month or so and wipe the floor with them. It was fun.
Now I'm imagining Tom in "Team Laser Tag GO!" mode, and it's cracking me up.
tommyrot -- Yikes! A little warning, please!

Let me guess - people you'd trust with your life? People you'd be willing to jump on a live paint-grenade for?
