Inara: So, explain to me again why Zoe wasn't in the dress? Mal: Tactics, woman. Needed her in the back. 'Sides, those soft cotton dresses feel kinda nice. It's the whole... air-flow.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Don't forget that left turn at Albuquerque.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Thing is, it cost $11.99, and that makes me suspicious.

Well, if it turns out to have some secret freakitosity, at least you're only out $11.99; it's not a major sartorial investment.

Also, it comes in weird colours.

Slightly more problematic. Does it at least come in white? Is it even a little bit cotton, and hence possibly dyeable?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Allyson--

First, go up the coast and stop when you need to to eat and look at the ocean. If you have a day or two, keep going until you get to San Luis Obispo, and hang out there.

Second--SO sorry about my late notes to you. I suck. You will have them by dinnertime--I hope that's okay.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Also, what Robin said. Up the coast, stop and look at the pretty things along the way, and if you have a morsel of money to spare stop at the Madonna Inn and revel in the cheese. Possibly in the caveman room.

Or continue all the way up to San Francisco and get the Zmayhem tour. As a bonus, when your friend and her partner move here, you can tell them all the sooper seekrit fabulous places they need to go and look all insider-y and cool.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

No need to be sorry Robin. You don't even have to read it, as I intend to scrap it and start anew. It was such poop, I need to split it into two shorter essays that actually have a point.

Driving up the coast sounds wonderful.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I think I've found the right work shirt. It's got multiple darts and fits me both at the ribs and the breastesses. Thing is, it cost $11.99, and that makes me suspicious. Also, it comes in weird colours.

Where is it from? Watch out for poly that doesn't breathe and collars that don't lie right. I assume you've tried it on, otherwise, the buttons across the boobs is another dead giveaway.

Signed,

Used to buy shirts from Old Navy but not anymore.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Allyson, you should definitely come up the coast. If you take the 1 part way, you can stop in Aptos/santa cruz, and then come up here.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

And if the shirt's 100% cotton, it won't fit anymore after you wash it.

I need to acknowledge that today is my day off from Stupid Paper, because I'm not doing shit on it, and that has to be OK. Regardless, my jaw is getting tight.
