I almost never close my jaws all the way at rest. I guess my bite is kind of fucked up, which has lead to some problems getting fillings to fit right. But no dentist has ever mentioned it as a problem. Huh.
Maybe I shouldn't have had that cup of coffee at the 5pm meeting.
Can't find Stat. Have a Sven, a Stan, and a Matt. Some combination maybe?
Oooh! Dictionary of racing terms! [link]
Poor hurty awake people.
When I pay attention to my bite, I'm convinced it's all fucked up. But it doesn't seem to actually cause problems.
I can't let my upper teeth touch the lower. It's like they're vibrating or something.
Off to bed.
Some combination maybe?Slashy relief... Mmmmm...
But it doesn't seem to actually cause problems.I don't think this is the jaw or bite so much as just stressing and clenching the jaw. The clench is just a symptom that then leads to worsening. I try to put my tongue inbetween my teeth so I don't shut them but then I forget. And clench.
Okay, ow. Get yourself a bite guard, Cass, don't use your tongue.
Well, not until the fellas get there.
Well, to be fair, the tongue is just a reminder not to *CLENCH* my jaw. I'm not actually biting my tongue. I just forget to put my tongue in the way and bite down. If my tongue is there, I am forced / remember to keep the jaw slack.
And it's not a sleep thing or I would totally be getting the bite guard. Well at least I don't seem to wake up with the headaches. Maybe I should look into the damn guard. Or botox in the jaw. That'll fix me.
This just *seems* so much like something I should be able to easily control and it is frustrating that I can't.
Eff that, Cass. Which of course I mean in the most loving and supportive way possible. I mean, it's an unconscious thing your body is doing. I'd take the help to avoid doing it.
