Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Is that J G-L stuff real? Because it's awesome.

Happy birthday, libkitty!

When I move it doesn't tingle so much. Not conducive to falling asleep, but it's something.

Maybe you should try Rio's perpectual-motion machine?

Becuase we have to vote where we're registered, and both me and my siser are still registered at my parents' address, we got to meet there

This just makes me think of Joseph and Mary, sorry.

ION, EEE EEE EEE! I applied for a job yesterday, was slightly concerned that my cover letter wasn't great, but figured better sent than not, AND I felt like I asked for a zillion dollars (they asked for salary requirements, and it was based on research, but still). ANYWAY, the point is, I got an email back already that said:

I was very impressed with your background and experience as it would serve us in our current vacancy

EEE EEE EEE! It went on to say that they're really busy with a conference and stuff this week, but hope I'll be patient and they'll get back to me next week. I like them already!!!

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Awesome, Jesse!

Not that I'm necessarily going to get the job, but the last time I sent out a resume, I just never heard back, so it's encouraging.

Coding and Sleeping

In a scene that could have been inspired by the movie "Minority Report," one North Carolina county is using a UAV equipped with low-light and infrared cameras to keep watch on its citizens. The aircraft has been dispatched to monitor gatherings of motorcycle riders at the Gaston County fairgrounds from just a few hundred feet in the air--close enough to identify faces--and many more uses, such as the aerial detection of marijuana fields, are planned.

Kinda spooky.

Go Jesse!

Lillian is very cute.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Do-it-yourself ear cleaning - misinformation, safety, etc: [link]

If people are this interested in cleaning their ears, an eyedropper with some saline and peroxide mixed together will dissolve or loosen most chunks of wax. Despite what your family doctor may recommend, never use pressurized water to irrigate your ears. That is a great way to perforate the ear drum.

(This is from an Otolaryngologist.) Also,

First of all, earwax is good. It is a moisturizer and has anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties. It is not "dirt" that needs to be cleaned from the canal. Earwax varies amongst different ethnicities. Asians have very dry, crumbly wax and Africans have moist wax. Caucasians are somewhere in between.
