You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Kids on the phone are funny. We have a buddy of ours whose little boy always answers the phone and babbles incoherently for a while before one of the parents gets on the line. We never knew why and were always a little bemused by this.

This month we paid them a visit, and the phone rang while we were there. The little boy jumped up and rushed to answer the phone. Why? Because it's an Incredibles phone, complete with flashing light. Hee! Cute. He's been picking up the phone in order to save the universe. He must have been equally bemused when it was only his parents' lame friends.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Why is my brain not yet working?

I think I need a very fine-toothed comb to scrape all the gunk out of my brain. Then it'd work.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

ah Monday, how I hate you so.

What she said.

I still don't feel well, and I can't not go to work, at least this morning.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I want an Incredibles phone. That's awesome.

ah Monday, how I hate you so.

ha! Normally I think Monday gets a bad rep, but today I am so with you. Didn't sleep. Woke up at 1 am with a sore throat, and it's still here. Have to get to work early. Didn't get anywhere near to finishing my grading. Today already SUCKS.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I still don't feel well, and I can't not go to work, at least this morning.

Ugh. Me too. Nor can I curl up in a fetal ball under my desk.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I wanted so badly to call in "tired", but with both designers out and 3 projects with the developers (which means daily problems given to me to fix) I knew it was not a good idea.

I do think I am having my lunch outside in a park today, and I am leaving right at 6 unless some disaster occurs.

I could do that - at least for a while, as I am the only one here. But clients want me to fix stuff, and their emails will only grow more insistent over time....

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

I wanted so badly to call in "tired"'

This, this, a thousand times this. Gronk. How can I be expected to teach when I'm this tired? I really think they should postpone classes a few hours until I'm feeling up to it.

Coding and Sleeping

I came very close to not exercising this morning due to tiredness. Yesterday Leif got up at 6:00am so I lost my chance to sleep until 7:30 or so when he usually wakes up.
