I am not...I am not the damsel in distress. I am not some case. I have to work this. I've lived in a cave for 5 years in a world where they killed my kind like cattle. I am not going to be cut down by some monster flu. I am better than that. What a wonder...how very scared I am.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I hope it's still Allyson's birthday where Allyson is, so my Happy Birthday wish won't be late.

In any case, a good year ahead wished for you, with good things and happy times.

David, I'm so sorry about the job. But I'm glad this will leave you free to breathe a bit and find something that's kinder to you.

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

I do not remember where I first saw it. Somewhere on the Web there was a place for insomniacs.

Our posts were weird and few, but heartfelt.

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

I am lonely. I cast my voice out into the IntraWeb and no echo resounds.

I'm more behind than you were, but thanks for the tag, Beverly.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

ah Monday, how I hate you so.

The office is actually a little chilly this morning. I think this may be the beginning of the shift from the too hot winter to the too cold summer. Unfortunately, I did not wear a cardigan today, so I hope it warms up some.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, this is definitely the "don't know what temperature it is" season. I don't know whether to keep the drapes open (for the sunlit warmth) or closed. I don't know whether to leave my storm windows up or open the windows. I don't know whether to build a fire or to bust out the fans.

But then I think I hear my cousin's voice on the phone and I realize she actually DID call Grandpa.

Heh. My SIL has a lot of numbers programmed into her phone. D really likes her phone. She gets amused calls from people all the time. "Uh, I think your son called me. " If he gets one of his grandparents, he'll actually hold a coherent conversation, but otherwise it's pretty much a random monologue.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.
