We're still working on a plan, but so far it involves being sent to prison and becoming somebody's bitch.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My grandmother also told me a funny (well, hearing it was funny) story about waiting a YEAR for an appt at a headache clinic here in NYC, getting some really expensive meds, and then taking them, and tripping. "Trip" is the exact word she used. She flushed the rest.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Remember I'm having another baby? Today we found out it's a boy. All parts appear to be in appropriate locations. Very wiggly.

Yay! Healthy wiggler!

Boy! Weird!

I think Casper's going to like being a big sister and bossing him around. Until he grows to be 7 feet tall.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I think Casper's going to like being a big sister and bossing him around.

Being the big sister ROOOLZ.

Until he grows to be 7 feet tall.

Except for that part.

Swouncing

flea, Casper probably still doesn't know about the upcoming change, right?

Ann, that's a ferret.

Yay, Flea!

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Hooray March!

This is my favorite month in the whole world of months.

I'm annoyingly cheery today.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Boy! Weird!

WTF! Now we really have to sit down and have a name-conference! Because girls' names have the flexibility to avoid the sing-song Y-nickname problem, but boys' names are much harder on that front.

There will be no Julia Goulia among the Nuttykin!

The real WTF is that this will be the first male child of this generation. Not that we're all reproducing like wildfire, but those that are have all had girls thus far. Considering how oppressed the Idiot Brother has felt, surrounded by females, any testosteronal representation will count as attempts at parity.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Oh, then you TOTALLY need to give him a "girl" name! You know, one that goes either way. Robin or Kelly or Taylor or something.

I think we're going to have a talk with Casper about it tonight. We've been talking up the idea of babies and sisters/brothers generally for a while.

Last night she said, to mr. flea, "This is MY mommy, not your mommy, daddy," and mr. flea said, "Do you know who my mommy is? Grandma T!" and Casper said, "Noooooooo." We then discussed mommy's mommy and siblings, and she was similarly disbelieving. So we have some way to go on the understanding family relationships front.

In terms of 7-footness, I would like to aim for shorter than mr. flea (6'6"). It's hard to be exceptionally tall. I think the odds are decent - my brother is only 5'11'' and my father 6'2" and mr. flea's father is only 6'1". Not that we have any say in the matter.
