I thought Willow was a positive portrayal.

Ooh, I forgot to notice that as of 10:26 board time, it is Spring in the Northern Hemisphere!
eta: Because I was just reading it this morning, Snakes on a Blog.
Oddly enough, there are two blogs called that. Here is the other one: [link]
Cause I watch House, and I didn't catch that he's Jewish.
I think that's largely because we don't get a lot about the personal lives of the characters. We know that Wilson's Jewish because it came up in last season's Christmas episode.
Also, hey, Jeremy and Dan on Sports Night. They had a seder and everything.
So are the "positive" Jews "stealth" Jews?
Not in the case of Rachel "let's make a JAP and never say she's Jewish and then we're totally off the ugly sterotype hook. score!" Green.

We introduced Em to "Sports Night" yesterday. She sat, with her sippy cup, and watched with the intenseness usually reserved for "Franklin" or "Miffy".
I believe she might have said, "DanandCasey4EVAH!!1!"
Did we all know that: Samuel L. Jackson only signed on for this film because the title was "Snakes on a Plane". When the film makers tried to change it to "Flight 121", Jackson was adamant to keep it "Snakes on a Plane".
What great potential for sequals, "Wolves on a Plane", "Sea Loins on a Plane", "Frogs on a Plane", and of course, "Monkeys on a Plane".

I don't know that I'd call this "stealthy" though -- I wouldn't know any of my co-workers' religions if it weren't for holidays (and only then if they make a point of taking time off for Good Friday, or Yom Kippur, etc).
Wow... Rachel was supposed to be a JAP? Totally missed that. Just thought she was spoiled.

And of course, next weekend's SciFi Channel Saturday Night movie: Genetically Engineered Super-Ferrets on a Plane!
