Shit's all sorts of different now.

I believe they're out, dammit. That's, like, 5 of my Sweet 16 teams out. My 8, 4, and 2 look good though. But I don't have any chance of winning.

Mostly lurking...

Oh, damn. I had such high hopes for them.

If one has to have a hectic Friday at work where one is racing to meet a deadline while the rest of one's department is preparing to depart on vacations, I'd not recommend chasing it with 15 hours in a too-warm hospital room watching over one's dad like I just did. Did anything exciting happen while I was gone?

Our wings are not tired.

How is your dad doing Matt?

Pretty good at the moment, though we're worried about all the time spent laying down (yet not getting any restful sleep) taking a toll on his strength and mobility. They're not sure whether his symptoms mean that he passed a gallstone this week or that there's something more serious going on with his liver, but the doctors should have a better idea how to proceed from his blood tests in the next 48 hours.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Matt that sounds exhausting for all of you. try to get some rest.

DUKE DUKE DUKE

errands have been accomplished. Along with a mile and a half walk through the hood. It's a wee bit chilly out, but not too bad in the sun.

Shared some building gossip with the upstairs neighbor and finally asked him for his handyman's contact info. I think I will try to book work being done in May/June. If I can get him to come and look at the place in April, then we can decide how many little things to get done.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Bracelet with watch face. This one is cool. Pinstripes.

More health~ma for your dad. Gallstones can be very difficult. I hope some good rest happens for both of you soon.

Hee. Around here I hear ABD, as in Anybody But Duke. Not watching much basketball myself. Watching Dr. Who now. And working. Blah. (I hope to get on IM later, but I am on a remote system now and it doesn't work)

Also, Who much fun.

What they said.

Perkins--going to work with pink hair is fun! Just ask kat.

Sadly, my hairdresser doesn't even stock pink dye. What's up with that.

I also don't like what she did with the bangs this time, but they will grow out soon enough, I guess.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."
