That's disturbing. You're emotionally scarred and will end up badly.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Now I have to go get him out of his meeting to tell him, no, his call still hasn't gone through, that is, it did but then I hung up so I need to get the number again and start all over. I can't believe I was so fucking stoopid.

Just say you were disconnected. Happens all the time. No need to tell him it was your fault.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I figure at leat half the things I say are things that in F2F life would get an oh as an answer.

I am guessing adapters aren't that hard to come by where you live, Jesse

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm not laughing at your poor peeing cats, Perkins. Really.

Why not? I would.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Just say you were disconnected. Happens all the time. No need to tell him it was your fault.

Agreed. Unneccessary detail.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Like they said, JZ. Not your fault. The world's an imperfect place.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

I want to know if V for Vendetta is worth seeing and I'm too lazy to go into movies. Yea or nay? There is a work St. Patty's thing going on tonight, but if I go at all, I plan to bail pretty early.

hip deep in pie

Comedy Central did not air the Tom Cruise Trapped in the Closet ep. b/c of pressure from Cruise saying he would not do any press for MI III if the show aired. This is Trey Parker and Matt Stone's statement on the issue:

So, Scientology, you may have won THIS battle, but the million-year war for earth has just begun! Temporarily anozinizing our episode will NOT stop us from keeping Thetans forever trapped in your pitiful man-bodies. Curses and drat! You have obstructed us for now, but your feeble bid to save humanity will fail! Hail Xenu!!!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Ok, that just makes me mad. Comedy Central not airing it, that is.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I really wished I had a paper and pen when I was eating my lunch today, because the lady sitting next to me would have been one of those New York Short Story Overheards -- giving a full-on monologue to her friend about her financial situation, her daughter's arrest for fighting and what happened to the other girls involved ("and the lawyer's Jewish, too"), some other kid's gym teacher being arrested that she had seen in the paper, on and on. And she was dressed and spoke like a fully respectable person.
