Wesley: We were fighting on opposite sides, but it was the same war. Fred: but you hated her…didn't you? Wesley: It's not always about holding hands.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Ooh, they printed my Overheard!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Ok, that just makes me mad. Comedy Central not airing it, that is.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I really wished I had a paper and pen when I was eating my lunch today, because the lady sitting next to me would have been one of those New York Short Story Overheards -- giving a full-on monologue to her friend about her financial situation, her daughter's arrest for fighting and what happened to the other girls involved ("and the lawyer's Jewish, too"), some other kid's gym teacher being arrested that she had seen in the paper, on and on. And she was dressed and spoke like a fully respectable person.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Comedy Central did not air the Tom Cruise Trapped in the Closet ep.

Did not air or did not re-air? Because I was pretty sure they already showed it (which is why both Cruise and Hayes were up in arms).

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Ooh, they printed my Overheard!

Remarkably similar to Emmett's damning review of the movie.

Re-air.

Did not air or did not re-air?

They've taken it out of rerun rotation -- it's aired at least once already. (And it's a shame, too, because that's a really funny ep.)

On the other hand, I can understand Viacom's stance, which is that MI:III advertising represents a shitload of money they'd rather not lose.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

I want to know if V for Vendetta is worth seeing

The consensus from Movies is that, while reviews are mixed, several folks enjoyed it, and others want to go. I would also like to go, but probably won't have time this weekend.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I confessed and he was really upset and agitated, but he got over it. I'm still mightily pissed at myself. It was a big fuck-up; there's someone who urgently needs a diagnostic procedure in, like, two hours from now, and the insurance provider's phone system is an ungodly maze.

I find South Park totally unwatchable, but I'm falling a little in love with Parker and Stone, just on principle.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

I had no idea that Isaac Hayes was a Scientologist until this whole thing blew up. They really are everywhere, aren't they?

Also, cool Overheard moment.

ETA: Thanks Ailleann. I will probably see it, but not tonight. I was between this and Block Party. Now it's lookin' like Dave's coming out a winner.
