I've really got to learn to just do the damage and get out of town. It's the 'stay and gloat' that gets me every time.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If the fire was presented in jewels and/or rare metals, it might qualify as formal.

I'm low rent and high tech--LCD.

Pronounciation question: boutique--BOWtique or BOOtique?

Coffee question: How do the standard prep methods stack up? Which is best and which is worst?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

So, funny thing this morning. 2 guys from my building's staff were in the elevator and were asking me about the smoking guy. Appparently they all heard the message I left last night. I think they were smirking a little. I laughed out loud when they asked me and told them, "OH! He made me so MAD!".

Today's goal is to not lose my fucking shit with anyone, or as my bff said last night, try not to be one giant hormone.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

BOOtique

a federal prosecutor (Sean Bean) who goes undercover as a criminal in order to take down a sprawling underworld organization.

Because so many federal prosecutors and made men have Yorkshire accents.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Pronounciation question: boutique--BOWtique or BOOtique?

To me, BOOtique seems slightly more snooty/pretentious.

Art Crawl!!!

Alan Tudyk:

IN THE SHADOW OF THE LAW (CBS) - Kevin Pollak ("Hostage") is the latest addition to the legal drama pilot, where he'll play a partner at the law firm that's at the center of the series. Joshua Jackson, Jacob Pitts and Alan Tudyk also star in the CBS Paramount Network Television-based hour, which comes from creator Carol Mendelsohn. Danny Cannon directs.

Percolator coffee is nasty, right?

I heard bowtique in a meeting yesterday, and again a couple times on ER. I really wanted to correct the person in the meeting. I'd never noticed that pronounciation before.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I think the two worst ways of making coffee are:

  • Using instant.
  • Percolator.

eta: Percolator x-post.

My mom used to use a percolator. Besides that, I'm mostly familiar with them being used at church functions.
