IN THE SHADOW OF THE LAW (CBS) - Kevin Pollak ("Hostage") is the latest addition to the legal drama pilot, where he'll play a partner at the law firm that's at the center of the series. Joshua Jackson, Jacob Pitts and Alan Tudyk also star in the CBS Paramount Network Television-based hour, which comes from creator Carol Mendelsohn. Danny Cannon directs.

Percolator coffee is nasty, right?
I heard bowtique in a meeting yesterday, and again a couple times on ER. I really wanted to correct the person in the meeting. I'd never noticed that pronounciation before.
I think the two worst ways of making coffee are:

My mom used to use a percolator. Besides that, I'm mostly familiar with them being used at church functions.
I've gone back to the old school - just a simple melita cone with a paper filter that I pour hot water through. It rocks.

My coworkers take care of the coffee duties, as I come in a half-hour after everyone else. We have a big coffee maker, though it is without a hot-water tap. Beverages other than coffee are a real pain to make. This is sad-making, given my tea addiction.
