Damn it! You know what? I'm sick of this crap. I'm sick of being the guy who eats insects and gets the funny syphilis. As of this moment, it's over. I'm finished being everybody's butt monkey!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Let's go with the butterfly-flapping-it's-wings approach and say that you completing your Midterm will make me feel better. Not even completing. How about starting?

I wonder if I can make it the 2-3 blocks to Osco...

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have started. I have definitely started.

The status is NOT quo.

So I should be following Jesse's good example and doing my grading.

That doesn't seem to be happening. Huh.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Good example, ha ha ha. I think I have 200 first-draft words of the 1000 needed for one thing, and bupkis for the other.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Sugar maples are only found in one area of the world. This ranges from Southeast Canada, down into the Northeastern United States. Massachusetts, New York, New Hampshire, Vermont, Pennsylvania, Maine, and as far west as Ohio all have sugar maples.

I hate to dispute Maple Facts, but they are on Maple Crack. We have Sugar Maples here in Minnesota. I've actually visited and helped out at a "Sugarbush," visited others, and I know of several in the old growth back woods of Minnesota.

I'm also pretty sure the maple tree the city planted in my front yard ten years ago is an acer saccharum, but that doesn't count, as it was not a natural growth.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Heh. Thanks to Betsy's encouragement I'm making JZ watch Flash Gordon (the Queen one)

"No! Not the Bore Worms!"

"Flash Gordon. Quarterback. New York Jets."

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Ah, the movie that made me gay. Though I'm not sure whether credit should go to the soundtrack, the set design, or Sam Jones being strung up in leather shorts...

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

or Sam Jones being strung up in leather shorts...

Prompting JZ to ask, "Why are they making him wear a pleather diaper?"
