All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Yesterday I asked a high school boy to bring me a 10" color frame. He brought me a 12" frame. I did not make an inappropriate comment. Are you proud of me?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

We're proud of you, aurelia, but Super Porny Pants is crying quietly in the corner over there.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

It's GORGEOUS here. I was standing out on the back porch in bare feet in the sun and it's all warm and Spring-like.

I'm supposed to be getting on a plane this afternoon to go back to LA.

Don't. Wanna.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I can't say I blame you, Allyson.

It's gorgeous here, too though. The fluffy clouds in the distance don't speak well for the future, but for right now, they are pretty.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Did the FEMA people get new jobs helping Glark run the technical side of TwoP? Site errors and downtime have been climbing for the stratosphere lately, and now the forums are down for revamping again just in time to kill the buzz following all the SciFriday season finales.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

It's lovely and warm here, too. I'm not minding a bit, as I've had enough of winter.(even though this winter wasn't all that bad, I still am tired of it.)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Am sleepy, since even though theoretically I slept enough, the damn cat woke me up several times. Bah.

It seems lovely outside, so I'm thinking I'll pack up the readings I'll need to use for my take-home midterm and take them to Central Park to go through them.

My Dad got a remote-controlled racing car for my nephew's bday. It's zooming all over the house right now. There's a dog that looks not unlike Rolf from the Muppets behind the wheel. Cutest.

So sad I'm not going to be here for his birthday. He loves cake and I Cream. That's how he says it, "I Cream."

He hasn't tried pie, yet. I should have made a pie while I was here. Damn.

All packed. Ready to go. Don't want to leave the nephew. But my SIL wants to take him to LA. So, maybe next year. She was really stoked about the thought of Catalina, when I described Thanksgiving to her, but you know, Thanksgiving, adults, one crazy toddler...not such a good idea.

Blathering on. Too much caffeine.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Yay, Spring!!

Depending on the actual people involved, one kid and a bunch of adults can be great -- you can spread out the intensive kid time. When I was in high school, my family took a couple of trips with another family that had one kid my age and one little one, and it was great.
