Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.
This morning I remembered I scheduled the handyman to come in on Saturday, so I have to be here. I emailed management to say I would work a half-day today, and got an email back from my boss telling me I was "the best." Woo Hoo, out at noon AND I am the best.
one more hour and I am off for an exciting afternoon of dying my hair and watching Deadwood DVDs!

Police have turned off their sirens and gone away. I heard some loud voices too, but I couldn't figure out what was going on. There was a large group (30-40) of teenagers on the sidewalk and the police made them disperse. (We're about 3 blocks away from a high school.)
