Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Police have turned off their sirens and gone away. I heard some loud voices too, but I couldn't figure out what was going on. There was a large group (30-40) of teenagers on the sidewalk and the police made them disperse. (We're about 3 blocks away from a high school.)

eta: Those are nice glasses, Theo....

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

So, a good friend just won a fellowship at the "Museum of Jurassic Technology."

From what I hear, that's teh awesome.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I hate IVR. I don't want to chat with a computer that can't actually chat with me. I don't want to repeatedly say key words into the handset. But it does deflect from the "how do I get to a person?" issue, as I panic trying to get back to the keypad menu.

I hate doing that. Not really sure why, other than it feels lame....

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I am ita and tommyrot. I feel like a complete doof sitting there enunciating various words and/or numbers into the phone.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

What a wonderful impish smile, Theodosia. And the glasses are nice, too!

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

They just installed a new watercooler in the lunch room, and it's all high tech and stuff. There's a cold water tap, a hot water tap, and one tap in the middle that just has a light bulb above it. I have no idea what it does, but now I'm incredibly curious.
