Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Salt has two functions. I like it in its first, which is to release flavour. In its second, as a flavour in its own right, it's gross.

I agree, except for salt and pepper squid.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Very sharp papercutter/guillotine, cutting off just the bound edge?

This is a good idea. For anyone's future reference, apparently the velobinding machine has a tool for removal. After spending 15 minutes trying to peel it out with my letter opener (I am very busy, you see) I asked Duplicating if they could and found this out.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Hmm. I thought Crixa Cakes had a good chance of making Paczki, but I was wrong.

The Swedish holiday cake for this time is a semla (pl. semlor). Danville Old Towne Bakery used to make them but I'm not sure if they still do following their change in ownership.

Trust my rage

the Diane Rehm show,

I feel like an ageist (if that's a word) saying this, but I can't stand to listen to her. It hurts my ears and I always turn on my iPod during her show.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

For anyone's future reference, apparently the velobinding machine has a tool for removal.

I was going to say, there's a special tool that rips it right out.

Aims - Feb 28, 2006 10:01:45 am PST #216 of 10001
Shit's all sorts of different now.

What kind of food do they serve, Aims?

Frulatti Cafe - which has a new "dessert deli" and a Surf City squeeze same main food as Wall Street Deli.

Johnny Pizza - serves pizza.

Samurai Sam's - Chinese. GREAT chicken teryaki.

Steak and Potato Company - same as Great Steak Escape.

Also, Rice Garden moved and now has a sushi bar. Taco Time - Mexican food.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You salt haters are crazy.

I wasn't going to say anything, but brenda's right.

bon, always go to the experts.

My childhood best friend was Polish (I mean, lived-with-immigrant-grandparents Polish), and I swear I've never heard of paczki until you people.

She has some disease that messes up her voice. Her voice bugs me but mostly I just can't stand her interview style.
