The Tim Gunn stuff confuses me.
I have achieved donuts--one jelly filled, one chocolate glazed. But I can't eat them until my tea has finished brewing.
I IM very sporadically, which means when I sign on I'm immediately in five conversations and I feel bad leaving the computer ever.
I remember talk
from UNIX days. I think I even pulled it off across systems with my sister. Not sure how, though.
But maybe he and Andrae can have dinner at the Red Lobster and work things out.
For real! I thought Andrae might be a little woo-woo for Tim Gunn but maybe not.
The Tim Gunn stuff confuses me.
I didn't get even as far as reading the quote, the name itself confused me already. I wanted to correct it to "Charles Gunn" and "Tim Minear", and then I was all confused.
I feel bad leaving the computer ever.
Considering I have to leave the computer now myself, I think I have that guilt, too.
Nilly, my gmail address is sathinks, so if you get an invite, that's me.
Just got back from golf class, which was two hours of confirming that no, I can't actually hit the little ball with the big stick.
Is $100 a lot to pay for a full leg/bikini wax?
According to the salon menu on my bulletin board (what? doesn't everyone keep one handy?), my local place does bikini waxes for $20 and full leg waxes for $60. So, $100 is a bit high, but not excessively so. The place I go is a nail/waxing salon--nice but not chi chi. (brenda, it's the Nail Bar by your place!)
Q. Didn't someone post who is the current voice of the Geico gecko in here recently? Google is giving me no love, but it occurred to me this morning he sounds like Marc Warren from "Hustle."

Let's hope he doesn't make a bad swing and rip a big divot out of the hull of the International Space Station.
If the space station's fragile enough that a golfer's drive can damage it, I don't have too much hope for it being able to withstand collisions from all the assorted debris other spaceflights have left in orbit. Did Acme get the contract to build it?
All this talk about donuts reminds me that today is Paczki Day, and I didn't get any. I've been wanting to try the rose-jelly version from a Polish bakery near Milwaukee Avenue; guess I'll have to go there another day (at least they carry them year-round).
That sounds wondeful, Kathy. I love discovering ethnic holiday pastries.
I just found a forum where Dave Kelly says the new ones wif a more cockney accent are not him He seems to imply that it is an American doing them, but does give any specifics. There are lots of guesses and no one seems to know who it is.
